Montgomery County is the third largest county in Pennsylvania. The dispatch center handles 770,000 calls a year; it handles 1,900 dispatches a day; and, over one million radio transmissions a week. The county government provides many other services to its residents, and the county, itself, is home to a wide range of recreational, cultural and artistic outlets. It is served by an excellent public transportation system and its proximity to Philadelphia adds a great deal more to the quality of life in Montgomery County.
