Black Isle Cares exists to address the Health and Social care needs of our local community by identifying services and signposting to these as well as supporting new initiatives to meet need.Black Isle Cares offers a 'Meals on Wheels' service, providing high quality, home cooked food from a small number of local providers to those in need in the community, delivering four days per week. Other projects include a community garden (outside our office at the Black Isle Leisure Centre, Fortrose) and intergenerational games afternoons which usually run every Thursday, term-time, in Fortrose Library. There is a befriending aspect to all of what we do, and we are very proud to be able to serve Black Isle residents.
