1 STOP Lighting & Grip. Inc. is a full service lighting & grip balloon rental house founded by members from both I.A.T.S.E. Local's 728 & 80. We have come together with a common goal of serving the Entertainment Industry with new and innovative solutions.Unique to 1 STOP Lighting & Grip, Inc. is our low pressure "Helium Transfer & Storage System". Both lighting & grip balloons require the use of helium gas which is normally released into the atmosphere at the end of the shooting day. 1 STOP not only transfers helium from one balloon to another, but recovers and stores it in its low pressure system for use another day or at another location; all while providing additional savings to our client's. Recovered helium is currently being re-used on average of 6 times. Lighting balloons are primarily known as an ambient source of fill lighting delivering a natural and consistent look, now thanks to new camera advancements they work as a key light providing the primary source of lighting for scenes. These balloons come in a variety of shapes and sizes as each offers their own distinct features and abilities ranging from round, to tubes, elliptical and more. Grip balloons (a.k.a. 20XECLIPSE) are 20'x20'x4.5' in size, units can be zipped together for larger coverage when necessary. The Grip balloons are used to diffuse the sun and ambient lighting by 1 – 2 stops or, to provide a block out, work as a bounce source or work as a floating Green / Blue screen.
