Waste/Recycling/Environmental

The USGS estimates over 90% of U.S. industrial wastewater is not reused. Companies either truck their wastewater to costly treatment facilities or treat it in house at great cost. For environmental, economic, or regulatory reasons, industry is moving to a zero liquid discharge approach to concentrate wastewater for easy disposal and reuse the treated water in their manufacturing or washing processes. Micronic satisfies this ZLD need.Unlike other evaporation systems on the market today, Tornadic One-Pass™ is a one-pass system; enables >95% reuse, removes >99% of contaminants; enjoys reduced CAPEX/OPEX by >50%; virtually eliminates disposal cost and water fees; uses no filters, membranes, or chemicals; enables resource recovery from concentrate; reduces environmental footprint; and Micronic holds 11 patents to preserve its place in the market.Sectors in the $20B wastewater market include food and beverage, chemical, power, steel, textile, and pharma. Micronic's first customer is in the ~$3B cheese market where 95 cheese manufacturing plants in US can take advantage of our technology. Our secondary market is treating leachate or "run-off" at municipal and industrial landfills nationwide (~$19B market at 10,000 landfills in US).Micronic will enter the ZLD market one of two ways: water product companies integrating new technologies into product treatment trains offered to end user customers; or engineering firms designing new technologies into client solutions. Revenue is projected to include initial sales/leasing, remote data monitoring, artificial intelligence (IA) optimization for water quality and machine performance, and maintenance and service contracts. Our first customer is the EPA with an installation in Q1 2022. With $500K+ of in-kind contributions, this unit will host customers for demonstration purposes at the EPA. Our next customer is a large cheese manufacturing company, having granted $25K for R&D, to commercialize into the 95 plants across the US.
