The Trinity Trust Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to raising private funds and community outreach to assist with the implementation of the Balanced Vision Plan* for the City of Dallas' Trinity River Project and to help ensure that all components of the plan are designed and developed with an appreciation for, and understanding of, and a desire to protect the areas of natural beauty within the Trinity corridor. The Trinity Trust works closely with the City of Dallas and other nonprofit groups to achieve the highest standards of excellence in all aspects of the Trinity River Corridor Project, which will comprise one of the world's largest urban parks. (*) The Balanced Vision Plan was approved and endorsed by the Dallas City Council on December 8, 2003, as the master plan for the comprehensive development of the Trinity River Corridor. The plan includes the integration of flood control, transportation needs, recreational and aesthetic amenities, environmental preservation and functional design elements to ensure that the development represents the highest and best aspirations for the citizens of our community for generations to come.
