The Christians of the Middle East Foundation, CMEF is a Washington, DC – based nonprofit organization 501 (C3), dedicated to connect, inform, and update the Western Christians with their extended family, the Christians of the Middle East, the people of the faith and the land where the Christianity was born, and where the Christians are persecuted because of their faith. Some of these Christian believers still use Aramaic, the language of Jesus Christ, as part of their regular worship.At CMEF we believe in one Holy apostolic church with many gifts from the Holy Spirit and we are committed to featuring all the Eastern Churches and not a particular one.As U.S. citizens we are committed in working under American laws and using the American values of journalism.
