REC is X University's bridge between commerce and the creative industries. It's our vision to spotlight the business potential in the entertainment, communications and media industries. The Conference inspires, engages, and brings together business and arts students at the university and across Canada through team-building activities, industry related workshops, networking events, a panel of industry professionals, and keynote speaker presentations.MISSION: The REC is an on-campus resource that inspires, educates and motivates students to create a future for themselves in the entertainment, communications and media industries. REC hopes to show students the potential for success that comes along with pursuing their passion. We do this through facilitating events that connects students to industry leaders, teaching them new skills and perspectives on business, and promoting innovation.
