The Pipe Line Contractors Association is a trade association representing construction companies, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors engaged in the domestic pipeline construction industry. Founded in 1948 to negotiate and administer nationwide labor agreements covering pipeline construction, the PLCA's mission has grown to support members and advocate on behalf of the industry on a broad range of issues.The PLCA's stated mission is to seek to provide its Members the highest quality legal and advocacy services which in turn help Members provide the highest quality construction and maintenance services to their customers with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency, training, environmental compliance, and community support.
