CISTAR Communications Specialist at CISTAR NSF Engineering Research Center - West Lafayette, IN, US
https://cistar.us/The NSF Engineering Research Center for Innovative and Strategic Transformation of Alkane Resources (CISTAR) develops technologies for responsible conversion of light hydrocarbons from shale gas into fuels and chemicals using a network of portable, modular processing plants. Led by Purdue University in partnership with the University of New Mexico, Northwestern University, the University of Notre Dame and the University of Texas at Austin, CISTAR could enable lower carbon emissions and improved energy efficiency, and provide a viable bridge to a sustainable energy future.CISTAR will work with key industry and innovation partners to develop novel engineered systems that catalytically convert methane and C2+ alkanes derived from shale gas and oil to more valuable compounds for use as fuels, chemical intermediates, and other products. To join CISTAR as an industrial partner, please contact Peter Keeling at pkeeling@purdue.edu or visit https://engineering.purdue.edu/CISTAR/Industry/IndustrialMembershipProgram for more information.
