Southwest Regional Development Commission (SRDC) promotes the economic, social, physical and governmental development of Southwestern Minnesota. SRDC's mission is to provide professional expertise and leadership to enhance regional opportunities. Formed in 1973, SRDC is a nine-county regional development commission made up of representatives from local units of government and public interest groups in Cottonwood, Jackson, Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone, Redwood, and Rock Counties in Minnesota. Planning, land use, transportation, and economic development core areas of development for the SRDC. SRDC provides professional expertise and leadership to enhance regional opportunities.
