Helping small businesses stay up and running in the face of business interruptions is the goal and measure of success of BCP Resources.  To that end, we provide simple tools to help a small business assess their business risks, identify their primary risks and length of time they can function without key resources, and then determine how to mitigate these risks and put a plan of action in place to deal with potential disruptions.Additionally, we represent the EMP Shield product, to help educate small businesses that such a product exists and where it fits in their continuing operations.  For example, a small business with several computers all connected to battery backup devices is at risk of all of them being taken out by a strong electrical surge, such as lightning. The EMP Shield, for the cost of only one battery backup device, can protect all of them and keep the business up and running. Manufacturing may also need to install EMP Shield on individual equipment, to reduce or eliminate costly maintenance, repairs, or replacements, as well as downtime. There are a lot of vendors with a lot of products available to help with your Business Continuity Plan, and the EMP Shield is just one small part of an overall plan – but it fills a niche that wasn't filled previously.
