Our Hope "For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope." Romans 15:4 One does not have to look far to conclude that life is full of difficulties. At every level of life we encounter difficult decisions, various trials, and hardships. Often, meaningful direction and support seem to elude our grasp. As we observe our leaders and authorities being overcome by national and personal problems, it is sometimes easy to imagine that there are no real solutions, nothing sure in which to place our hope. Yet there is a very real source of hope for us, our families and our culture. It is found in the person of Jesus Christ. It is He who said, "I am the way, the truth and the life" (John 14:6). He has come to restore and order His world through the power of His Spirit and the direction of His Word, the Bible. In the most comprehensive sense of the word He has come to be the Savior and Lord, the Hope of the world. Therefore over and against hopelessness and uncertainty, we at the Stillwater Reformed Presbyterian Church offer reliable direction and lasting solutions through the "good news" of God's love, healing, strength, direction and blessing found in Jesus Christ, the head of the church. Please join us in learning from Him. We meet in the Stillwater Community Center at 9th and Duck. Classes for all ages begin at 9:30 a.m. and worship is at 10:45 a.m.
