Selva-Valuable Forests, a social entrepreneurship, is active in promoting natural products from the Andean and Amazon forests.Selva promotes a sustainable and healthy forest by offering a market for fruit from tropical forests that are grown conserving the forest's natural functions. The fruit, such as Aguaje, Camu-Camu, Cocona, Copoazu and Lucuma are sold as fruit paste for the production of ice cream, yogurts, deserts and other end products. Selva knows the entire fruit supply chain and works closely with fruit farmers, often family run communities, who manage agricultural and forestry systems. Selva generates added value to forestry products and makes therefore forests and people more resilient to climatic and economical changes. Selva's main goal is to protect tropical forests and to improve people's lives.
