Our posts feature locals and their stories of how they came to Byron, why they are here, what they do, what they love about this unique place….and for some of us…why we never want to leave.Prue Mitchell and Melinda Blair Paterson are two such locals and the pair behind Very Byron. With a collective 20 years of residing in Byron, both women have hosted what seems to be hundreds of visitors many of whom hold an ongoing curiosity with what it is that attracts them to the Bay. It is this curiosity that led Melinda and Prue to set up the Very Byron blog. Through an array of photographs, interviews and Byron updates the blog aims to assist in maintaining that connection, whilst simultaneously sharing information and promoting local passions, products, businesses, causes etc.
