The Autism Foundation of Tennessee DBA Autism Education & Therapy Center provides state-of-the-art behavioral-based interventions, educational, and support services for children in Tennessee and surrounding areas who have been diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities.What is ABA?Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the application of principles to change behavior of social significance. ABA is the most empirically validated treatment for behavior change.Our ApproachA Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will assess an individual to identify problem behaviors, current skills, the function of problem behaviors, and determine appropriate replacement behavior. This information will be included in a behavior plan, which is individualized. Extensive data is collected and analyzed to determine goal progress in addition to the efficacy of interventions.Education:Clients are grouped according to skill level, and instruction is geared toward functioning levels and skills assessments of typically developing peers. An assessment is conducted with each client prior to starting the program.
