Brighton Fringe is the largest arts festival in England. It is an international festival that is at the same time rooted in the community. It embraces every art form and every form of artistic expression, and supports both new and established performers in trying out new work and taking risks. Our vision is to be a nationally and internationally acclaimed open-access arts festival and year-round professional resource, that stimulates, educates and develops audiences and artistic communities. Our mission is to bring artists & audiences together & act as a catalyst for creativity. In addition to creating a platform for artists to showcase their work, we also help artists develop professionally through a range of free to attend workshops, mentoring schemes and bursary programmes. In 2019 Brighton Fringe consisted of 1034 events in 160 venues across the city, and attracted audiences of over 600,000.
