The Mission of the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce is to foster a positive business environment that encourages desirable economic activity, to assist in the creation and preservation of jobs, providing leadership on public, community issues, and chamber membership that enhance the quality of life of our community. • To bring new membership as well as the retention of old membership • To represent the interest of the business community before legislative and governmental bodies • To publish an informative newsletter as a means of improving communications with our membership • To promote constructive and cooperative relationships among the business community, Waxahachie ISD, City of Waxahachie, Ellis County, SAGU, Navarro College and Economic Development • To address important public policy issues that impact our business environment • To aggressively support the Convention & Visitors Bureau • To encourage business involvement, participation, leadership in the community, civic and cultural activities for the betterment of our community • To ensure the needs of the community and the Chamber of Commerce through the coordination of Chamber leaders and Waxahachie Community Development Board
