Our main focus is securing large projects within the oil & gas, mining, renewables, infrastructure and utilities markets and we have achieved third party certification for our QMS to AS/NZS 9001:2008 and HSMS to AS/NZS 4801:2001. nkt cables manufacturing plants are among the most modern, flexible and cost-effective in the world, and we invest heavily to keep them at the highest technological level. The range of cables we offer from 3.3 to 220KV are manufactured in one of our two Chinese plants, where we utilise some of the best European & Canadian designed machinery available. Together, these plants are producing over 10,000km of XLPE cables per year. For cables rated above 220kV, we source from our factory in Cologne. We manufacture cables from 3.3kV to 500kV and specialize in providing customised cable designs in various constructions, coupled with comparatively short lead times and attractive MOQ's. All of our cables are manufactured in accordance with world standards and comply with the latest requirements of the Australian standards including AS/NZS1429, during manufacture we use only the highest quality raw materials available. nkt cables also manufacture cable accessories from 3.3kV to 500kV. Our accessories are a superior design due to the fact that we utilise a silicon compound. This makes them easier to install and there are a minimal number of parts in comparison to other types on the market. All accessories are manufactured according to EN 50180/81, DIN 47636 and successfully passed type testing to CENELEC HD 629.1/VDE 0278 629-1, we also meet AS/NZS 4805.1. nkt cables Australia also offer the knowledge, experience and expertise of a qualified team of jointers.
