The Load Transfer Construction Method (LTCM) is a patented construction method that combines the benefits of a concrete frame building with the construction speed and design flexibility of light gauge steel framing. This innovative technique is set to revolutionise the way Australia builds "Type A" Class 2 buildings. Built in "reverse" the initial load bearing capacity of the building is taken up by the use of light gauge steel framing and a metal formwork deck which creates all internal/external walls and temporary formwork for strategic concrete columns and blade walls. Voids are formed over the columns and blades for simultaneous pouring with the concrete slab.
