Build with Purpose, formerly known as READS, is a full service non-profit real estate development and consulting firm with a focus on community and economic development. Build with Purpose helps to build strong vibrant and healthy communities by providing real estate services to organizations and communities that lack in-house capacity. Build with Purpose directly and indirectly develops a host of real estate projects including schools, affordable housing projects and nonprofit centers. Our work is holistic and goes beyond "bricks and sticks" to build knowledge and greater impact and social change across the communities we serve. While Build with Purpose's work focuses on projects in New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Eastern Pennsylvania, we have worked in other states and communities where we have strong partnerships. We believe that real estate development creates a "virtuous circle" whereby real estate can help organizations to further their mission and have a greater impact on their constituents and their communities.
