Tynedale Hospice at Home provides end-of-life nursing care to people in their own homes, a hospital transport service and pre and post bereavement support. We do this through our Family Support services to people living in West Northumberland, Tynedale and Ponteland. All services are provided free of charge.We have a team of Registered Nurses and Hospice Support Workers who deliver nursing care and are supported by over 250 volunteers who work across our retail, hospital transport and Family Support services.It costs over £900,000 a year to run our services and 90 percent must be raised through fundraising and voluntary giving. Tynedale Hospice at Home also has shops in Hexham, Ponteland and Prudhoe.Tynedale Hospice at Home is a Company Limited by Guarantee and a registered charity. (Registered Charity No: 1034170).
