Bitcliq is a tech based startup bringing digital innovation to make a difference on the fishing industry.Our goal is to transform the food sector, starting with artisanal fishing, by creating smart solutions with emerging positive impact on local communities, on food sources sustainability at the same time we aim to increase the level of well-informed consumers.In 2019, we launched Lota Digital, a partnership with Docapesca, to create the first blockchain marketplace that reinvents the trade of fish, starting at sea and bringing digital traceability since the point of catch to the retail store. With AI, we are making processes more automated, onboard of fishing boats. In land, we are increasing the process speed and increasing the quality control.Bitcliq have also developed several international projects, improving operational efficiency and traceability within industrial fishing fleets and processors across Africa, Asia, USA and Europe."
