(CEC), headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, was founded in 1995 as a barge rental and marine contracting company with a fleet of 10 barges, 9 of which were built in the 1950s and 1960s. From this humble beginning, CEC now boasts the youngest and one of the largest fleets in the industry with over 120 vessels, including inland and ocean barges ranging in size from 120' to 400', accommodation barges, as well as specialized oil spill recovery barges and cranes.
