She is excellent at initiating and developing EHS programs, training, and illness & injury & complaint investigations.Ms. Giles has been a Certified Industrial Hygienist since 1989, a Certified Safety Professional since 2011, and has over 25 years of varied, sophisticated, professional experience in the Environment and Occupational Health and Safety field. She worked for the ESH Division at Argonne National Laboratory in the Chicago area for 15 years, Rush U. Medical Center Safety Dept. for 8 in medical technology (and recently spent 4 months retraining in Hematology in their Core Lab) and hazardous waste and safety, AMOCO Corp., and several federal contractors. She worked for a DOE contractor in Grand Junction, another in Paducah, KY the summer 2017, then at the Hanford Nuclear site in the Tri-cities of Washington state for 8 months. She welcomes collaborations and enjoys working as part of a team to prevent or investigate concerns. She is available for short or long-term gigs or as an employee, whether full-time or part-time.
