The Kiski Area School District Food Service Department operates under the direction of the National School Lunch Program, a division of the United States Department of Agriculture. This program is regulated through the Pennsylvania Department of Education. We at the Kiski Area School District believe that the lunch program is part of the educational system. We are responsible for teaching children nutrition and offering them new and exciting food items. We strive to make the lunch menus appealing, encouraging the children to eat school lunch. We closely monitor food preferences while trying to introduce new foods. The Food Service Program consists of 70 employees in seven elementary cafeterias, one intermediate cafeteria and two high school cafeterias. The two high school cafeterias are referred to as the "upper", serving ninth and tenth graders, and the "lower", serving eleventh and twelfth grade. Listed below are the cafeteria managers for each school.
