Founded in 1992, the Center for Development and Learning (CDL) is a grassroots, Louisiana- based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. CDL specializes in the development and dissemination of leading-edge research, knowledge, and best practices that improve teaching and increase learning. CDL is focused on providing a positive, supportive learning environment and highly effective educators - teachers, principals, school administrators and parents - for all of our children. Together with local educators, community and civic leaders, national experts and other nonprofits and educational institutions, CDL is increasing student success through improved teaching.
