Launched in 1998 by Mourad Mazouz—the creative mind behind Sketch in London, Derriere, 404, Andy Wahloo in Paris— Momo is one of the first North African restaurant to grace London. Momo was reimagined in April 2019 to commence a new chapter of its legacy. We offer three different venues under one roof: Momo Restaurant, Mo Diner, and Kwānt. Momo's restaurant features North African/Mediterranean cuisine, with decors inspired by the architecture of Hassan Fathy, the newly designed interiors are inspired by North Africa with hints of the Sub-Saharan, transporting you to a Berber oasis. Executive Head Chef Hervé Deville (previously Executive Head Chef under two Michelin starred Pierre Gagnaire at Sketch Mayfair for seven years) reinvented the menu and leads the kitchen. His new menu combines the perfect balance of light Mediterranean dishes with hints of North African flavours and will showcase the best of classic and modern cooking techniques. The Momo's downstairs Bar, "Kwānt", has gone through a complete refurbishment in April 2019. It has been refined into a 19th Century style cocktail bar by award-winning bartender Erik Lorincz, who previously led the American Bar at The Savoy to take the top spot at The World's 50 Best Bars Award. Our third space, Mo Diner is a Mediterranean contemporary take on the classic 1930s American diner, located at 23 Heddon Street. Mo Diner serves food inspired by the shores of the Med from breakfast through to dinner, all day menu offers sharing and small plates. Featuring a bar for counter top dining, a relaxing colourful outdoor terrace, a cacti filled conservatory and a dark enchanted staircase, Mo Diner will be a slice of holiday and sunshine away from the buzz of Regent Street. Championing creatives from across the globe, Mourad has handpicked a collection of inspiring designers for Mo Diner, including Willo Perron & Associates who developed Mo Diner's identity and graphics.
