Lua Cheia is a luxury villa ensconced in the tropical foothills of the Western Ghats. Minutes away from Goa's most scenic and pristine beaches, Lua Cheia is the perfect retreat from the stress & pace of daily life. Close to the hub of South Goa's restaurants and cafes, but far enough to provide an escape, Lua Cheia is our area's premier location for intimate corporate retreats, yoga retreats, holidays or even small events.Lua Cheia comfortably sleeps 13 adults. The villa is carefully curated for comfort - all bedrooms include luxuriously soft mattresses and pillows, air conditioning, hot water, toiletries, pool and bath towels and cooling marble floors. Our large wrap-around verandah is reminiscent of colonial architecture, and gives guests the opportunity to revel in the Goan sunshine and fresh, clean air. The large doors in our lounge are always open, giving the villa a real inside-outside feel and making every meal feel al fresco.Our grounds are filled with lush tropical gardens, attracting endemic tropical bird and butterfly species that flutter and sing throughout the day. Our large private pool is spacious enough for everyone to enjoy. You can choose to sunbathe or relax with a book in the shade for the day surrounded by coconut trees, a variety of palms, banana & fruiting papaya trees. Our quiet village is ideal for walks, jogs or cycle rides (we have mountain bikes you can borrow at Lua Cheia). During your stay our staff will be happy to direct you or lead you on lovely walks through the neighbourhood, giving you a taste of authentic Goan life. We will also be happy to help you plan your trip - from day trips into the jungle to take a long walk or visit a spice farm, to excursions to beaches further afield. While there are many local restaurants of all variety in our area, you also have the option to request a fresh Goan meal prepared in house by our housekeepers.
