T/A Elevator Control Service (ELCON) opened its doors in Alexandria VA 1970 and has steadily transformed from a locally grown small business to become one of the industry's largest independently owned and operated vertical transportation contractor in the US today. In late 2018 ELCON increased its regional footprint purchasing one of the last remaining independent elevator companies in Northeast Florida with a goal to accommodate existing customer growing demands for quality elevator and escalator services stretching from Savannah Georgia to Orlando Florida and all points between. ELCON offers customers personalized care and attention of a privately-owned company while possessing the extreme means, stability, and technical ingenuity otherwise only available through major corporations. Our unparalleled management staff primarily consists of nationally certified technicians and highly qualified trade specialist with more than 600 years of combined industry experience. Unlike major elevator manufacturing firms, ELCON specializes in servicing all makes, models and vintages of elevators and escalators. ELCON takes great pride in our unique abilities and versatility to service all makes and models of vertical transportation more effectively than the original equipment manufacturer themselves. Because ELCON is not a manufacturer, nor subsidiary to an OEM, ELCON specializes in servicing all brands of equipment and does not rely on low bid construction/installation projects to build and/or retain our customer base.
