NogginStorm was founded by Dr. Dan Diamond. After his return from the Hurricane Katrina relief effort, he was compelled to tell the story of resilience in the midst of the storm. Despite years of international disaster relief work, He was inspired by some of the folks that he met while serving as the Director of the Medical Triage Unit at the New Orleans Convention Center. Some of the people that he encountered refused, despite a complete lack of resources, to become victims. In such a raw environment, with possessions stripped away, it became clear that those individuals had some common characteristics. Learning these empowering skills would clearly give employees a significant advantage in the everyday work place. Research has proven that these resilience and hardiness tools can be learned. Our mission is to strengthen and equip people with the skills they need to thrive when times are tough.
