Pathways to Wellness improves the health and well-being of diverse populations by providing high-quality, integrative health care. We bring an evidence based practice in a heart centered healing environment, to the public health arena.Pathways to Wellness, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization, founded in 1989 as the AIDS Care Project, in response to the needs of people living and dying with AIDS. Since that time, Pathways has broadened its reach and mission to serve the wider community. Our "share the care" model of business allows clients who pay market rates to help subsidize care for those who cannot otherwise afford it. Our 18 licensed acupuncturists, Chinese herbalists and massage therapists have proven themselves to the medical community by treating some of the more intractable health conditions, such as chronic pain, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, neuropathy, etc. Today we work closely with the medical community in hospitals and community health clinics around the city, including Massachusetts General Hospital, TUFTS Medical Center, Cambridge Zinberg Clinic and Spaulding Rehab Hospital. Practitioners provide home based acupuncture throughout metro Boston and the south shore to clients with health concerns ranging from para- and quadriplegia, to recovery from illness or surgery, or hospice care.
