Westport Family Counseling was founded 10 years ago by Director, Nicholas Strouse. WFC is a group practice in downtown Westport with a team of 7 Therapists and 1 Registered Dietitian who specializes in mood issues. We treat individuals, couples and families of all ages and children as young as 4. We work with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, issues surrounding life transitions including divorce and blended families, behavioral issues in children or adolescents, marriage or relationship counseling, and we have a specialization in trauma. We also run Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Groups for teens and adults. We have an integrative approach and we look at the body and mind in a holistic way. Our main priority is to customize treatment to each client's individual needs and create a safe place for healing and change.
