Ignite, Inspire and Empower.The Discovery Center for Science and Technology is an educational non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage curiosity, critical thinking and creativity through the exploration of Science and the Arts (STEAM).We offer exciting educational programs that introduce children and adults to science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics (STEAM) through fun and engaging experiences. For over 20 years, The Discovery Center's "Museum without Walls" programs have served elementary school students, teens and adults. You may have experienced our community events, Family Science Nights, Reading Awakens Young Scientists (RAYS), portable planetarium, GoGirls STEAM summer camp, Art Makes U Smart, Discovery Center Teens or the Science Speaker Series --Science that Everyone Can Understand. We provide hands-on science education programs to schools, community centers, parks, libraries, local theaters and auditoriums. The Discovery Center has served over 250,,000 individuals in Ventura, Conejo and Los Angeles Counties and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax exempt organization.
