Mills Uniform Company was founded in San Francisco in 1947 by Sue Mills. With a background in clothing design and four children wearing school uniforms, Sue knew she could improve upon the offerings and service in the market. Beginning with a small shop on Sacramento Street she was soon servicing schools throughout the West Coast.More than seventy years later our clients range from Honolulu to New York City. The most respected schools in the country partner with Mills because we create programs that reflect their unique community and values and deliver products and service they can rely on. Mills' staff is the key to our success and longevity. With an average employee tenure in excess of fifteen years with Mills and prior experience in the garment and uniform industry we are experts at designing, sourcing, producing, fitting and delivering school uniforms and satisfied parents. Our exclusive business is school uniforms and we remain one of the few privately-held companies with active family involvement - our President & CEO is Sue Mills' granddaughter.
