Founded in 2001, we are a community network of 1,300 curators in 14 countries and at over 400 institutions, with our largest contingency in New York. We strive to have voices from many fields, organizations, backgrounds and viewpoints. Our mission is to support and promote the work of visual art curators in the non-profit sector by creating opportunities for networking, collaboration and professional development. We are committed to celebrating, advancing and advocating for inclusion and access within the curatorial field. In support of these aims, we seek to heighten public understanding of the curator's non-profit role through programs open to all.
