SkinKandy is an established franchise specialising in the areas of Body Piercing & Retail Body Jewellery. While the SkinKandy history still remains relatively short, it has grown from strength to strength. SkinKandy was born when founder, Mark Oliphant, saw the need in the "shopping centre market" for a specialist piercer, and provider of body jewellery. Previously, the piercing retail market was limited to tattoo parlours that offered body piercing or street/mall based "Specialist Body Piercers". SkinKandy wanted to embody a fun, relaxed and welcoming environment for piercing that was accessible by anyone. At all SkinKandy retail stores, we pride ourselves on providing one of the largest ranges of body jewellery lines in Australia at affordable prices. But the SkinKandy difference lies in more than our product lines and prices, it is our customer experience. Regardless of which SkinKandy retail outlet you visit, the vibrant colours of our brand and friendliness of our staff ensure it's an experience that our customers keep coming back for. SkinKandy now has an exciting growth strategy through franchising with retail store numbers anticipated to grow significantly in the short term, with the potential for 50+ stores Australia wide within the next five years. SkinKandy also has plans to expand internationally into New Zealand, but not before we've fully established our Australian market.
