This sophisticated and chic salon is one of our favorite hidden gems, thanks to its small size and the phenomenal hairstyling talent within. It's also, simply put, gorgeous. That's because co-founder Craig Longhurst is an interior designer, and his excellent taste is visible in the velvet sofa, Cole and Son wallpaper, fresh flowers, and Knoll table you'll see upon entry. With surroundings so beautiful, it's not surprising that the cuts and blowouts are impeccable. Co-founder Gregorio Ruggeri has been styling since he was a teenager in Australia, and he's worked with top names including Australian Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Cate Blanchett. Through careful vetting, Ruggeri has assembled a team of talented stylists—including Michelle Garwood, who recently created the runway hair for Oscar de la Renta resort. In short, we'd bet it's impossible to leave Salon Ruggeri without loving your hair.
