FOUNDED IN 1898Lux Bond & Green, Inc. was founded in 1898 by Morris A. Green, who had operated a horse and cart selling pocket watches and gold eye frames on the streets of Waterbury CT then a thriving industrial community. In 1932, the second generation purchased the Lux Bond & Lux Jewelers in downtown Hartford and renamed it Lux Bond & Green.
