Otesha means hope in Swahili, a language I became familiar with in 2011 when I travelled to Africa with my 13 year old daughter. Seeing the world through the lens of my daughter and those who had never travelled outside their village gave a whole new meaning to the word. Since 1992, I have been inspired by the resilience of those who are struggling to achieve a better life for themselves. As a frontline social worker and then as a director at a larger charity, I was able to assist these people in finding their own hope, through counselling, program development and problem solving. Now I am using that same theme of hope and offering it to businesses, government and charities who are striving to become more resilient, sustainable and relevant in today's marketplace. Otesha Consulting Inc. is able to develop, manage and deliver on meaningful social impact projects. We will manage your project, event or situation through the identification of a critical path, the observation and implementation of process improvement, and the execution of required tasks to meet goals and targets.
