The Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute (HWNI) at UC Berkeley is the nexus for campus-wide multidisciplinary neuroscience research and The Berkeley BRAIN Initiative. HWNI is a collaborative research community of 51 faculty members in 12 academic departments, with plans to increase membership to over 65 in the next five years.
