Formed in 1946, the Marines'​ Memorial Association exists as a tribute to those who have gone before, and to provide a service to those who carry on. The flagship is the Marines' Memorial Club & Hotel in downtown San Francisco, where members, their guests and families can meet and gather in continuation of the tradition.A unique establishment, the Marines' Memorial is much more than a club and hotel.
