Vidyanikethan, (Society for Education and Social development) is an award-winning not-for-profit organization founded in 1988 to improve the lives and livelihoods of individuals and families, especially children and women, from low income groups and of vulnerable, marginalized and under-developed sections of the society.Vidyanikethan's interventions in four key areas - health, socio-economic development, education and environment - facilitate and provide opportunities to the needy by creating awareness about relevant issues and enhancing their access to improved lives and livelihoods. Vidyanikethan works in the urban, peri-urban, and rural areas of Bangalore South, Belgaum District, Soundatti Taluk of North Karnataka in Karnataka and Hosur and Mathagondapally in Tamil Nadu enveloping over 118 villages/slums 10 Panchayaths 10 Block/Taluks and overall, its interventions impact 11500 families.Please consider supporting us in our mission and vision of a better future for everyone.
