Scope of Services: 1. GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING & SITE INVESTIGATION: • Site Investigation on-shore and off-shore. • Soil and rock sampling and conducting field and laboratory testing. • Monitoring soil and groundwater movements. • Geological mapping. • Investigating and analyzing stability of slopes. • Evaluation of structures foundations and their maintenance needs. • Stabilization of foundation ground and grouting. • Design of foundations and earth retaining structures. 2. CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS SAMPLING AND TESTING: • Testing construction materials and building components including aggregates, soils, concrete, reinforcing steel and bituminous materials. • Chemical analysis of soil, water, aggregates and concrete materials. • Design of concrete and asphalt mixes. • Quality control on construction sites and production plants. • In-situ testing of soil and concrete. 3. PILE FOUNDATION DESIGN AND TESTING: • Monitoring of static load test of piles. • Instrumentation of piles. • Integrity testing of piles. • Dynamic load testing and analysis. • Cross-hole sonic test of piles. • Borehole caliper • Design of pile foundations. 4. EVALUATION OF STRUCTURES AND STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS: • Assessment and evaluation condition of existing structures and their maintenance needs. • Conduct load test of flexural members. • Conduct studies on problems pertaining to foundations and foundation ground. • Conduct non-destructive tests on concrete. • Condition surveys and evaluation of road and airport pavements. • Pavements design and analysis. • Perform studies and investigations on construction materials. 5. QUALITY CONTROL: • Develop and implement quality control plan for construction sites. • Provide equipment and run site laboratories. • Provide consultation on development and implementation of quality control plans for production plants of concrete, asphalt mixes, pre-cast factories and block and tiles factories.
