At Skodel, we believe wellbeing should be everyone's business. Many of us work to get better at a particular sport, musical instrument or other area of life. We know that to improve, we need to practice. The same applies to our wellbeing, yet it's not always easy to do this. There's no obvious starting point or ways to tell that we are improving. Our focus at Skodel is on developing engaging tools that empower you to pursue better wellbeing. And our approach is centred on helping you get to know who you are and making a plan toward who you could be.Skodel's check-in helps you accurately identify how you are feeling and what's behind it. Feelings are knowledge but it's not always easy to get to the bottom of them or know what they are telling us- behind anger may lie fear, rejection, vulnerability and others. Realising what's underneath helps us manage things in the moment and build a real understanding of ourselves. Accompanying the check-in is our planning tool, which helps each person map their way to better wellbeing. In order to improve, we must first take aim at something. Skodel supports you to set goals, track progress and stay motivated.Our mission at Skodel is to give everyone a voice that is heard. It is relieving to know we are not alone with our thoughts, feelings and ambitions. When we hear a song, watch a movie or see a piece of artwork that contains pockets of our own reality it is comforting. We feel heard. We feel human.
