Opened in 1995, Chelsea Piers transformed four historic, long-neglected piers into a major center for public recreation and waterfront access. Chelsea Piers Fitness features one of the country's most challenging rock walls, a 75-foot pool, Hudson River sundecks, dedicated studios for yoga, barre, Pilates and cycle programs, and 150+ group fitness classes a week.
