Profile Racing Inc Designs and produces high end BMX, MTB, and Road Bike Components. As well as Sprint Car, Midget and Dirt, Modified Power Steering units. Located in St Petersburg, Florida, United States. Founded in 1968 in Flemington, NJ. as a Dirt Modified Chassis producer. Moving operations to St. Petersburg in 1978. The owns two children started racing in BMX. Engineering and fabrication being the companies current tools of the trade. Opportunities presented themselves to be acted upon. Profile Racings BMX division was born. Tubular 3 piece cranks designed for BMX were the first offerings. Taking the sport by storm. Frame, Fork, Handlebars, Stems, Hubs, Pedals and more were to follow soon. All while the Race car Division kept its wheels turning. Phasing out chassis production in favor of Center steer power steering boxes. The 90's saw a resurgence of BMX. New products were designed and tested. A BMX specific cassette hub. Expanded line of Crank sets. One piece sprockets. As well as many other new and innovative products and patents were to come. The Steering division also got to work on upgrading the steering units. Double struck, forged aluminium housings with billet aluminium parts rounding out the main housing. While starting production on in house built fast ratio internals with a double lead true ballscrew.
