The cultural life in Randers evolved and even today, is constantly on the move looking ahead to the future. Denmark's only river runs through the municipality and the city of Randers. The widespread nature provides numerous opportunities for sport activities and recreation. The old timber-framed houses, monuments and statues, churches and castles tell the story of a town going back to The Middle Ages. Randers Municipality is part of the welfairytale of Denmark.
