Come and study a variety of instruments with award winning faculty and watch numerous concerts here at the Charleston Academy of Music in downtown Charleston or Mt. Pleasant! Founded in 2003, the Academy has become a leading music education institution, offering lessons, as well as concerts for the Lowcountry. We are a non profit organization with the mission to enrich our community through music education.Academy offers lessons in Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, Guitar, Flute, Clarinet, Harp, Voice, Jazz Piano, Jazz Guitar and group classes in theory, ear training, composition, early childhood education, and ensembles. Students and faculty perform in hundreds of concerts yearly in the Rush Hour Concert Series, student and faculty concerts, and at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival.
