Apache APISIX is a dynamic, real-time, high-performance API gateway that provides rich traffic management functions such as load balancing, dynamic upstream, grayscale release, circuit breaker, identity authentication, and observability.APISIX was open-sourced by API7.ai on June 6, 2019 and joined the Apache Incubator on October 17, 2019. After 9 months of incubation, APISIX graduated as a top-level Apache project. It has been an extremely active project on Github with more than 400 contributors.
