Wright Christian Academy began at the call of God in July of 1989. The academy opened its doors in August of that year offering students in kindergarten through twelfth grade a Christ-centered, college preparatory education. We continue to occupy what was the old East Central High School facility and over the years have made major renovations including the addition of a full-size gymnasium, performing arts auditorium, media center, and science lab. Since the beginning, the academy has been inter-denominational and has served families from a broad range of the Christian tradition.
